Accepted this is not very Ford related yet but here in England there is a 1941 Willys coupe steel body and chassis for sale circa $10,000.
It is a bare body , minus glass ,headlights bumpers , chrome and hood. And bare chassis.
Hey striebs,I'm not really up on actual costs but I think over here in the States a fiberglass Willys body would be less than that. Someone over your way has a fiberglass Morris Minor body for 200pounds(Approx.$300 US). If the shipping wasn't so high I'd be interested in it.

41 willys are my favorite cars I would love to own one. I looked into it and for around 3000 you can get a really good complete fiberglass body. The for the rest of the 10,000. You can buys a rolling chassis with modern suspension and you basically have to add the engine and interior. So if you were going to spend that much you are better off with the fiberglass and newer chassis. You won't have to start with a half the body and a frame that needs work. Just my $.02
