I am having problems removing the ignition switch from my 1965 Mustang. I removed the wiring connector with no roblems. However, the actual switch is giving me problems? I noticed that it is spring loaded, but, I am not sure if it unscrews, has a bayonet connection or is pinned.
Any help?
The bezel that's on the outside of the dash unscrews from the switch housing. Wrap a towel over the end of a screwdriver, place it in one of the notches in the bezel, and lightly tap it with a screwdriver to get it started. Then you can unscrew it.
