302 Crankshaft interchange

Can I replace a '68 302 engines' crank with a late 80's 5.0 roller motor's crank? The '68 is all 'old style' with a C4. Need to keep the original harmonic balancer and flywheel to fit the vehicle. If so, what parts would be needed - i.e. which bearings, seals etc.? Need a very quick and inexpensive fix.

I think it would be cheaper just to find a 302 crank up to 1980

Sounds like we got a rod knock. I have a late model crank, the '68 302 is powering a truck that can't be down very long (my son's) not enough time or money for new/ machined or a complete rebuild.

Crank kits should be available over the counter. In and out, off you go.
