Nitrous Choice for my 408

Has anyone here used the sportsman fogger system before.
I want to use a system that utilizes the individual port foggers and would like to hear from someone that has done the install.
Or is there a better system that used port foggers?
I am looking for a 100hp shot.

if all your looking for is a 100 shot, maybe a plate setup would be a better choice? less plumbing involved...

For sure. With only a twinky 100 hp shot (I consider anything 200 and less TOY setups). I"d go with a plate system. Soooooooooo simple to put together and make work good.

I'd only consider doing a fogger system if I wanted to plumb in 300+ hp to an engine. (which might happen sooner than later)......:&gt

I run an NOS fogger system with a small shot. My thinking was I was building a car I could show, and I like the way the fogger system looks. I also wanted to run a dual plane intake and the plate is not the best choice. Like other have said if you are builing a race car then put a plate system on it until you get to about 250 shot then a fogger becomes nice from a tunability aspect. Have fun and build what you want.

Thats a lot of my thinking as well. My car isnt a race only car and with my current suspension set up a 200hp or bigger shot would twist my car in half or at least shake all the bondo out.

Part of my reason for asking is that I know nothing about other brand options for the fogger type system.
The NOS fogger system is quite expensive.

A plate would be much easier but just wouldnt look the same.
With my new license plate (fogd408) a plate system wouldnt be politically correct would it?

I dunno. While the complete dual solenoid/side to side individual port system looks impressive as hell, I personally would have working around all that stuff.

Bad enuff having the OTHER nitrous crap (i.e. solenoids/wiring), making the engine compartment look 'busy' as hell.

Do what you want to do................it's your car.

Well I have researched the different nitrous kits over the past few days and it looks as though I am going with the Sportsman Fogger system and a 100hp shot.
PS: This kit has the option of 200hp jetting for all you nitrous addicts.
