I'm sure someone will come up with that data. But you can find that and much more in this article right here on FordMuscle. Requires a subscription. You'd be helping support the site and the existence of the FordMuscle forums at the same time.

Re: Flow numbers for 351 4v stock head

The Edelbrock heads are a joke. If they were $1400 a pair assembled, then they'd be a good replacement for stock 2v heads or aussie heads. I think they're well over $1900 a pair assembled. There's no reason not to buy CHI's or AFD heads that flow WAY better at that price.

It makes makes me mad to even think of people buying the Edelbrocks. What a waste of $$$$.

Re: Flow numbers for 351 4v stock head

No seriously, it really makes me mad to think about the Edelbrock 351C heads. The only people who are going to advocate them are either: 1)getting them for free for a magazine article write up or 2) ignorant of the choices for 351C heads. That's the only two possibilities.

Sorry, I'm really trying to not get started. Sorry again.

paulie

p.s. Edebrock makes a lot of good stuff. Just not Cleveland heads or FE heads.

just flow numbers alone dont dictate how good a head is,low/mid lift flow, port velocity, chamber shape, cross section, swirl, material all play a part in its performance than just flow alone.

Re: Flow numbers for 351 4v stock head

Not sure what you are after the 4V flow numbers for but just in case.... simply looking at flow numbers to base your selection on a cylinder head is to ignore the big picture. Sure, 4V heads flow alot but so does the Mississipi River.

And by the way, the CHI 2V vs Edelbrock Flow numbers are here. You've probably seen those.

Re: Flow numbers for 351 4v stock head

I am with anyone else that says edelbrock heads are crap, for the 351c they are not much better then ported 2v heads.

As far as performance you cant go wrong with a set of CHI heads they offer more and they are passionate about the 351c they are enthusiasts like the rest of us.

Look at those flow numbers the CHI makes the edelbrock heads look like crap.

Re: Flow numbers for 351 4v stock head

I was going to do a comparisson test of Edelbrock windsor heads against the new cleveland heads. At the last minute, Edelbrock cancelled the whole deal. They said their cleveland head was NOT A RACE HEAD---which I allready knew from the flow bench numbers.

Re: Flow numbers for 351 4v stock head

Thanks guys That's what I suspected. there is no way I would look at the Edelbrock heads after seeing the stock head flow numbers . I would like to have a set of the old motor sport A3 heads but that will never happen . thanks again for the information to hear from so many guys is price less . i know I can make power with A ported set of cleveland 4v heads. I just needed a compairison to see how good the Aluminum heads are.

Have you done much with the 351C lately? Any exp. with any of the new heads other than E-brocks?

That's true, but flow is still VERY important. I'd take factory 4bbl heads over the Edelbrock's any day. I like to go fast, though.

Here's a link to a post discussing the Edelbrock Cleveland heads on the 351C forum.

Ford 335 "Cleveland" Series Engine Forum: Trick Flow heads?-

Do a search for "edelbrock heads" on that forum and you'll find a lot of stuff.
