rack and pinion

I have a 1973 ford maverick small block 302. It has been lowered 3" all the way around. I would like to put a rack and pinion on it. Does anyone know if ther is one available that will work. Also I need info on shocks since the car has been lowered. Thanks!

Re: rack and pinion

RRS makes a kit.

Re: rack and pinion

And some guys use the Total Control Products part for early Mustangs but it doesn't have a very sharp turning radius 'cause the Mav is narrower up front. If you can afford the RRS kit that's the way to go. Or you can just install a complete Mustang II suspension for about $2200.

I am looking into putting a tko 5-speed in my 73 Mav. It has an automatic now. Do you have any technical info for me?
