390 compression ratio

I am helping a friend build a 390 for a 63 1/2 galaxie. The build is going to be pretty mild but with good heads, headers intake and carb etc. Can anyone tell me what piston I need to use to achive a 10 or 10.5 to 1 compression ratio, using Eldebrock 76cc aluminum heads? I would like to put flat top pistons in it, but don't want to end up with 11 or 11.5 to 1 compression. Also what would be a good cam for mainly street use? (C6 transmission, not sure of weight of car 3600lbs?) Thanks for any help.
