Edelbrock 8011 how to install?

O.K So I bought the transmission rod extension and I dont know what the sheet metal screw is for?

This is my educated guess/diagram:
That screw is to keep the extention from flopping around. You would need to drill a small pilot hole for the sheet metal screw.

I checked Edelbrock's website for you but could'nt find anything either. What Master Anubis is saying is very logical.
