Re: removing ignition switch witout key?

Normally you turn the key to Acc position. Then stick a pin about the size of a paper clip in the small hole just below the key, press it in then turn the key further CCW. That releases the tumbler so it will pull right out.

Since you don't have a key that fits you need to learn how to pick the lock. If that's not an option find a handfull of keys that will slide into the lock. Play around with the key and you might get lucky and get it to turn. I'm sure a locksmith could get it out.

If you were here I could have it out in a second. Too bad.

Re: removing ignition switch witout key?

I had to do this on my torino when i got it, the easiest way is to remove the whole ignition assembly from the dash(just unscrew the trim piece on the front of the key switch), then get a drill and drill the center of the thing until you get all the tumblers go fall out and pry it out
