eec-iv ground on 1992 lincoln towncar

I removed the wiring harness on the 1992 lincoln towncar. When I replaced it the car was a no start, no fuel pump or spark or engine diagnostics. I believe the eec is not grounded. I have done numerous checks for non connections and cannot find any. My question is where is the eec physically grounded? Cannot find any wiring harness ground connections unless it is grounded to one of the sensors or injectors. Wiring diagrams only show a ground point but cannot find the physical connection.

Re: eec-iv ground on 1992 lincoln towncar

The EEC system has a couple of ground points. If you removed the entire harness without cutting any wires then you should have some ground lugs attatched to the harness.

Ultimately pcm pins number 20 (black wire) and pins 40 & 60 (black\white wires) are your pcm grounds. EEC related sensors and solenoids requiring a solid ground use the same black\white wires for their ground.
