c6 mods?

I know the topic is for c4 but I cant seem to find much info on a c6. I have a c6 going behind a 545cid and just want to make it hold the HP. We are useing alto reds and koleen steels, a tci rev. manual valve body, alto wide red band, billet servo, and a tci low drag full roller kit. What mods should be done to the case, servo, and drums for oiling ect. Can I loose the governer like the c4? Do oil passages needto be drilled like the c4. Any info to help hold the abuse it will see will help.

A lot of what you need to know there. Be wary of that TCI valvebody not sure if the problem affects manual VB or just transbrakes

Re: c6 mods?

You'll want 5 clutches in each pack ,though you could get away with 4 in the high/reverse. Governor can go yes , Servo options are R servo and E lever or less ratio. You need to be careful of the ratio here .
The F lever is a high ratio for use only with the stock type servos.
Pic are there for the rollers ,not really any lube mods reqd.

Any questions feel free to ask .

Re: c6 mods?

I also forgot to mention that with the right alto setups I end up with 9 clutches in the direct and 7 in the foward. This setup works great behind the 800+hp. We usualy have a problem with the trust washers but rollerizing fixes that. Another thing we do is drill the direct drum to allow the fluid to exit the drum quickly when applied. (just like the c4's) We usualy use the stock servo becuse it never made sence to grind on the billet one, but we are gonna try it and see.

Re: c6 mods?

The B lever will work good with the R servo.
9 clutches ,WOW. Drilling the drum is good and after doing the rollers you won't go back to thrusts. Everything turns much freer .
