I am happy with the change but its not the funnest thing to drive down the highway for a long period of time, but besides that i wouldnt change back.its only used as a nice weekend cruiser anyway.

It's tough to swap back to an auto. The first thing people do when they walk up to an older car is look inside to see if its a stick car. For cruising around town I love the four speed. For the track it's pretty hard to beat an auto.
car weighs 2995 with me in it so imagine without me its around 2815.
i have since taken the front bumper off and added a shelby front valance so all together may have lost another 50lbs. or so.would eventually like to get it to 2800 to 2850 with me in it.

if i could have gotten the car to hook decent the standard may have stayed and if it were a daily driver it would have stayed for sure.
i tell you its nice making a pass down the track and not worry about spinning, missing a gear and not shifting fast enough.no aborted runs for the most part now.

It's running good! You need to knock a tenth off the 60 ft. Do that and the ET will be even more impressive.

so far car has 60fted a 1.57 last time out when it went a 7.14 1/8 run and at the same time ran 11.30,i dont think with this convertor it will 60ft much better its just a 10'' .maybe with more weight out.
i run a regular set of good traction bars and caltrac 9 way adjustabl;e shocks set on full stiff if i remember correctly.also have 90/10 shocks in front and no swaybar.
