3 speed to AOD conversion

Have a 67 with a 200 and 3 speed tranny, 3 on the tree. Would like to put an automatic in it. I know the c4 will work. Wondering if an AOD will work behind that 6 cyl 200? If so, anybody ever done it and know the parts that have to change? Think it will lug that little 200 too much?

At minimum: column, linkage, auto brake pedal, kick down linkage (think AOD has electronic?), bellhousing, driveshaft (?), tranny support (?)

Thanks

Rich
