64 Falcon Pro-Street - Help Needed!

Help!! I just started 64 pro-street project car. Anyone 4-link one of these? Anyone put a big block in one? Anyone know where I can locate parts to do this? I have the big block already. Any help or guidance would be extremely appreciated!

I am going to try to do all of it myself (with the help of some friends of course). Where can I get the parts. I know JEGS carries most if not all what I need, I was just wondering if there are some other places out there. Also, if there are any "tricks or tips" that are particular to these cars I should know about that will make the project a little easier.
COOLFALCON: YOUR FALCON IS DEFINETLY COOL!!!!Was the Mustang II frontend difficult?

Check out S&W racecars and competition engineering also. I have 4 link brackets if you want to save some money on them. The mustangeIi steering wasn't that bad just measure measure measure and then when you think your ready to cut measure again. Then cut. Its trial and error tell you get it to sit the way you want it to.

If it were me, I'd use a R&C Motorsports front crossmember to do away with the towers. The S&W stuff is nice as well as the Competition Engineering. I'm building a '71-73 'Stang right now & as large as I am I'm doing the cage with a bender so I can get it close to the A pillars & make the main hoop as wide as possible. There's a guy here with a '60 I'm trying to get... those things make killer looking street cars!

Welcome 64falconps. We need more pro-street falcons. coolfalcon has a sweet ride as does qtrmiler. I had mine backhalfed with tube with ladder bars. I'd definitely get rid of the shock towers and open the front end up.

What BB are you putting in? Someday when the money gets right, I may do BBF myself or a 347 stroker.

glad to have you on board.

Thanks, it's great to be here! There are definetly a lot nice Falcons on this site. Very nice people too! I had a small block 65 Sprint a few years back and absolutely loved that car! Sadly I had to sell the car. I have built many Fords over the years but always wanted to do another Falcon. This time a Pro-Street. Finally I found this 64. I am getting rid of the shock towers. I am putting a 460 stroked to 605 in it. The motor is ready except headers. Right now I have the money so I am trying to assemble the parts I will need before the funds dry up!
PhatFalcon: Do you have any pictures of your car?

coolfalcon......why? They look great. I see prostars everywhere. Don't see the Draglites much around here. I should have gone with chrome, this aluminum is impossible to keep clean and shiny!
