Here are a few pics of the progress on the '66 Falcon race car I am building, the gas tank had to go since I in-boarded the leafs. It is going to get a 2 gallon fuel cell in the front so I had to cover the big hole it the trunk. I went ahead and built a small framework that will allow a trunk mounted cell at a later date. I used .032 cold rolled sheet steel for the floor. I also painted the bottom of the car with New Ford gray urethane. The Cal-Trac style bars are finished and installed.

If it wouldn't be too much of a pain. I'd like to see a detail of your front subframe tie attachment point and maybe an overall shot of the connector(s). I can see the detail on the rear leafs-to-rear frame rail - nice. I assume that the front leaf attachment point (center of the bushing) is in line with the stock bolt hole. What size tubing BTW? 1 1/2" or 2"?

I believe I'm starting to have chassis twist issues, so it's time to look at fabbing some subframe sticks. Wish I'd done the spring relo when I built the rear.

Hey Chris, The front mounts are in line with the spring hole, I used 2" x 2" .095 for the connectors, and I tied the connector to the front rail with some gussets, I will tie them in to the rocker when I add the roll cage. I will E mail you some pics if you send me your address.
