1964 Falcon Steering Column - Exploded View

I'm putting a 64 Falcon Futura steering column back together and really need an exploded view of one. Can someone help?

Why do you need an exploded view? There are only 8 pieces to the entire column...

I can't figure out how to tighten up the part that contains the turn signal. It rotates when you try to use the turn signal.

Re: 1964 Falcon Steering Column - Exploded View

There are TWO square headed bolts that POINT UPWARD from below, and the nut's that hold the signal housing in place are almost castellated and are self locking.

You need to unplug your T/S switch, Remove steering wheel, Pull up switch just over the shaft tip, hold it to the side and tighten up the two bolts while holding the housing straight to where the normal signal arm should be. Use a 1/4" drive and a 5 inch extension with a 7/16" socket If I remember correctly...

I may have an exploded view somewhere....

FE also forgot to tell you that you need 3 hands to get those 2 square headed bolts to drop in place while you tighten things up. Have fun!

Or you can use tape to hold temporary them long enough to get the nut started.
