1965 falcon 5.0 EFI AOD swap

looking for info on putting a 1989 5.0 EFI engine and AOD trans into 1965 Falcon. questions I need answers on please
I am using a 1989 Lincoln mark7 engine and trans
1. what oil pan should I use?
2. does anyone sell a cross-member for the AOD trans?
2. what will be easier factory exhaust manifolds or aftermarket header?

any other tips or advise will be greatly appreciated

You need a front sump pan and pickup. Manifolds or headers is up to you. Check for clearance at the left export brace. Not sure but I think the upper intake plenum interferes there. Hope this helps a bit.

The left side shock tower brace will hit and can be notched to clear. You could remove them and install a bolt on export brace to get more clearance.

so front sump pan but do they make one with a dip stick or do i drill the time cover that is on the 89' engine????????????

You'll want the front sump pan and pickup. You'll want a timing chain cover with the dipstick tube hole. You might be able to drill the cover you have now for the dipstick. Otherwise, you can get an aftermarket cover for about $125 or just hit the local Pull-a-Part. Make sure your water pump will be compatible. I'm not sure what your plans are for the belt up front.

I've got a Milodon oil pan kit if your interested. Part # Milodon-31920.

Pan,
Oil pickup,
Windage tray,
Studs,
Pan bolts,
Gaskets,

Only used to Dyno my engine.

Steve that looks like something I could use if I was certain it would clear my pwr. steering rack and the price was right.
