Decided to sell my beloved and wicked quick Falcon.
I don't have the space or time to tinker with it anymore and would rather see it go to someone that can enjoy it that way, than just collect dust!
The car is fully driveable and doesn't need anything to be enjoyed and used. But like all old cars there is always something that you like to fix with and that will be listed at the end.
Both inside and outside is in excellent condition! I have only managed to find two minor spots that had rust repair done! Paint got a few minor scratches and dings but you really need to know where to see them. Interior is perfect.
The main thing on this is obviously the engine.
I built this from the ground up a few years ago and have put less than a thousand miles on it since.
Fully blueprinted 1967 Ford block, borred, honned, linebored, decked and squared. Clearance for the crank etc. All machining done by B&G Machine Inc. in Georgetown?Seattle WA.
SCAT highgrade cast steel crank, 3.400" stroke, with custom Probe forged pistons.
Trickflow 170cc runner 'as cast' semi CNC, aluminum cylinder heads. 2.02-1.60 'twisted wedge'cylinder heads.
High volume oil pump, billet timing chain set etc.
Only top shelf components used throughout engine! ARP studs and bolts on heads, caps etc. for instance!
Carburetor is an annular booster 750Dp custom built and tuned by Craig Blood at Blood Enterprises in Auburn WA fame. He also dyno tuned it for me.
Put out ~280hp on his low reading (Mustang) chassis dyno, which is about 400hp on the crank @4800 rpm. @6.7psi boost.
C4 automatic with 'higher stall' converter, don't know brand etc. since it was in the car when I got it and it have no markings... Works great though.
9" rear with 3.50:1 gearing and 'locker'. Rear tires are very new, maybe 300 miles on them, fronts look good with plenty of thread left too. New Rocket wheels rims with spline-drive lugnuts.
So what does it need you wonder?
Well as you saw the power stopped at a low 4800rpm and thats due to leaning out from not having enough fuel system. There is a modified 130gph Edelbrock Performer RPM mechanical fuel pump (also new) and a (stock) 3/8" fuel line which evidently is not enough. With that fixed it should pull fine to 6k and make another 1+psi boost and 100-120 more horsepower. Runs great during normal driving!
The horns need to be wired in.
The instrument voltage regulator isn't working (as always right...). So the fuel gauge show full all the time.
And a fan shroud would be a good idea if you like to sit in stop and go traffic. Runs cool and fine otherwise.
That's it!
The car is located in Seattle WA. Would, obviously, be possible to ship anywhere in the US or world for that matter on your dime.
I got well over $8000 in the engine alone and the car is in excellent shape so I feel that $19000 is a steal!
(It will be negotiable with the right person, I feel like the car needs a good life with a new owner!)
