Ugrades Front Sway Bar

Hi All,

Trying to fit a recently purchased upgraded front sway bar on my 66 500. The bar came from P-S-T and is just not fitting right. Anyone out there with any experience with this install?

Cheers,

Aldaytona

I used a Quickor garage, [ nice part] on mine, i installed it with the eng out and front clip off. I think there some old posts that said they had to drop the lower a arm on one side to get the swabar in ?? Hope this helps

Re: Ugrades Front Sway Bar

If you get the front end up, wheel off, you should be able to snake the bar in. I was able to reinstall my factory front bar with almost everything installed. Just takes a little wiggling.

Got it installed, boy that 1-1/8" bar is sure a little heavier than the stock one! Many thanks for your suggestions. Next project the exhaust system...

I know it says don't tighten the end links too much but in my experience you need to tighten them up pretty good to keep them on.
