I noticed that the 64 mounts didn't come with frame perches, wondering if that is true for the 67. Without a picture or diagram I don't have a clue how they will mount. I sure wish Tex would get the ones he is working on fabbed up so we can see them.
Cross member mounts changed between the pre-65 body/engine compartment and 65 forward.
The biggest change was the pre-65 was simple, it was welded to the cross member.
The later models had a removable (bolt-on perch) which held either a sbf/6 cylinder perch or a FE perch from the factory. If the car originally came with a small block or straight 6, you would need to remove it and install an FE style perch. The motor mount, on the engine, would then allow a factory style drop in of a big block (FE).
Some people found that with a little "finess" you could enlogate the mounting hole enough so that you could use drop a a 429 in the same mounts if you made a few modifications to the block motor mount.
The Crites 429/460 mount requires you to remove the factory perch completely, replace it with their perch - which allows you to use factory 429/460 mounts.
Both techniques have been detailed in several posts. Its not difficult - as long as you realize that 64 and earlier install is not the same as 65 and later. So what happens/happened on a 63, 64 has very little relevance with a 65, 66, 67. After 68, the 429 was a facrory option, so its just a matter of swapping parts. If you look closely at the frame, it will all be clear.
