Re: Today I did !!!!
i started tuning my buddy's 66 Fairlane...
reset the plug wires so you can see the timing marks with the light.
finished the small-cap to big-cap conversion.
next up...bypass the resistor wire and hook up the remote-mount TFI module & coil.

Looks like a real nice job on that floor panel. I like the cross bracing too, good idea.
On the day you posted I replaced my heater core (second time in two years, bummer), cleaned up my whole messy engine compartment, spray painted the inner fenders and installed the new rubber closeout flaps that go around the A-arms.
Before and after:
...And adjusted the clutch pedal stop to keep it a little closer to the floor. Oh yeah! And I replaced the fuse for the dash lights so I can see the instrument panel at night again.
The following day (Sunday) I found the leaking vacuum hoses in my heater control system and got the whole heater/defroster setup working again. Now I should be able to keep the windows clear in wet weather. I've been going to get to this stuff for a month or two now but been lazy. Feels great to have that stuff back in shape!

Re: Today I did !!!!
yesterday i polished half my side trims on buffing wheel and put the black line back on them , i also removed the trim from the top of my tailgate that holds the wiper seal . i did this by sliding it sideways came of very easily . i then removed the 4 clips that hold it in position ready for paint. today i hope to remove the door handles, front bumper and grill ready for bonnet removal at weekend so i can get to the country sedan name trims on my front fender, as i cant see any other way of popping the clips of back of holding pegs.

Re: Today I did !!!!
today I did nothing...but yesterday had all 4 boys stripping our old MarkVII before its trip to the shredder...it was gutted already of anything useable, figured good 'hands on' time for them to use their tools... mosly about getting after them about getting it apart without hurting themselves(dont pull a whench towards sharp edges, etc) and without scratching stuff up... my 5 yr old just had a ball taking bolts in and out of the shifter... but bad dad forgot he had his good coat on, mama wasnt happy
was GREAT to get out in some sunshine finally... think it was only 50, calm/sunny- after the last few months, close enough- spring is here!
