Hello,
Does anyone have a 64 Galaxie they are parting out? I need the drivers side quarter window stops (fastback). The body shop lost them during restoration.

Thanks in Advance!

Also check Dearborn Classics and Macs. I'm not quite sure what the stops are, think i would as it wasn't long ago i put my convertible windows back in but just can't envision what they are.

We've all been there! I was just looking for simple caps to cap off part of the T for the air shocks to run individual hoses and got the run around. I was told i was in the plumbing section like i didn't know that already. But i had asked if he worked on cars prior to that comment and so knew i was in trouble. I said yes i know that but you are out of the size i need in the other section. He said well pipe threads are different. I said yeah but for what i need it doesn't matter. Went to home depot, ran into a very tall older man and i wasn't finding what i needed and he said lets go to the plumbing section. Found exactly what i needed! The guy owned a 70 or 71 mustang and understood the hunt and making do with what you can find etc.

Hey man, I checked my stuff and all I have is stops that measure 3" x 1& 3/4" and have a 5/8ths coated lip. Bolt holes are 2&1/4 apart. If you think these could be trimmed to fit, they are yours plus the ride. USPS is probably the best. I have 4 and they probably from the front glass. They are from a 64' as I have one that I restored. Let me know. Wish they were exact. Don

You know i totally forgot about this! Would a 63 work i wonder? There is one at the junkyard down the street. They don't have any '64 2 door cars though. If it might I can pick them up for probably not much. It still has it's windows.
