today is the day i have finally got the carb tuned correctly and my timing curves right on my 4 door cruise o matic 65 gal!!!
13 degrees initial...adjustable advance at 5 3/4 turns out...vac advance comes in perfect at part throttle..max advance 35 degrees, no pings on 93 pump gas...31 nozzle..idle mixture holley 650 both at 1 1/4 turns...19 inches vac...idle rpm 600 edelbrock performer and cam, ran a 14.902 in the 1/4, 91.016 mph. remember 4 door with 3 to 1 gears!! big block runs out of steam at top end..pulls like a freight through the 8th...stopping with drums and a single master...woah baby woah...and drove her home. now onto the cosmetic details!!!
