Time for some retail therapy!
So dear Heather decided a non-designer exhaust just was SOOO 1968 and dropped it on the road. She sounds good, but a single straight pipe is maybe a *touch* aggressive.
Since I have to weld on the exhaust anyway, i might as well go with tri-y long tube headers (picture attached), full dual exhaust and glass packs, right?
So obviously I've decided on components, but I have a quick question- has anyone here installed long tube headers on a small block Galaxie with a 3 on the tree? There just doesn't look like there's a ton of room to squeeze the exhaust past the clutch and shifter linkages and the power steering. I *can* go with shorty headers or block huggers, but that's not really my preference.
