Power front disc conversion?

Hi everyone, new to the forum. I just came into a '67 Galaxie 500 XL convertible and I'd like to convert from manual brakes to power disc. Any suggestions for a conversion kit that won't put me in the poor house? Thanks

I used a Wilwood Conversion kit on mine (front only), Wilwood master cylinder and an MBM 8" dual diaphragm booster.

I don't know what your budget is so I guess the poor house is subjective.

Here's the kit I purchased: Wilwood Brake Conversion Kit

I believe you could save some money if you didn't order the drilled and slotted rotors.

Re: Power front disc conversion?

Welcome to the forum, where everyone agrees the 1965-67 vertical headlights look the best! Sometimes there are good links at the bottom of the page (like this one) in the section called "Similar Threads."
Some folks here converted using Scarebird, like me, http://www.fordmuscleforums.com/gala...onversion.html .
