63 1/2 Galaxie 500 Fastback Z code Price Reduced

Well I just bought this project but looking the garage I probabaly should not have. I just have too much $h^t going on and Im not going to get to the galaxie soon. It runs and drives. its not tagged so i havent dirve it too much. but everything seems fine. tires are old, i would definately plan on trailering it if you are not lcoal to denver. anyway, below is how I posted it locally.
This is the very desirable mid year 2 door fastback /sportsroof Galaxie 500. It is a factory 390 FE Big Block V8, Automatic Transmission, and Power Steering. It is a very nice RUST FREE survivor Colorado car. I believe it is factory black on black, although it was repainted in the 80s. Its an awesome car and it does run and drive. A great restoration project or street custom.
It needs paint. the paint job is old and ugly because the car was stored outside. there is one deep scratch on the lower passenger side door, easily fixed. the interior has couple splits from sun exposure. the dash has one crack. the interior is very nice for a 47 year old car. the glass is all good, no cracks!. everything works inside except the clock in the dash, although it is intact. it has the factory hub caps all in good shape. all the badges and everything are on the car. all the lights work. all the inside and outside trim is present and in good shape with one exception, the drivers side upper door molding.. which has a little ding in it. the grill has a tiny ding too. both easily fixed. the car has 103000 original miles. it runs pretty good, and has good power. I recently replaced battery cables, spark plugs, pcv valve, oil and filter, oil fill breather, fuel filter, tranny filter and fluid, driver side valve cover gasket. I also cleaned up some of the wiring with new heat shrink terminals. The battery is new (no rust in battery tray either!) There is also brand new electric choke equipped holley street avenger 4bbl carbuerator on it. the carb was brand new in the box. i jetted it for altitude and installed it.
The car does have a lifter tick, might be a sticky lifter, does not appear to have a collapsed lifter or bent rod. i would guess if the lifter and rods are replaced it would be an easy cheap fix, a couple oil changes with seafoam might clear it up too. the noise is intermitent. This car has the original air cleaner housing, original valve covers, all the orignal badges are present and intact. its really all original. like i said the car runs and drives like and good old car...but dont expect it to run like new. this is the original engine.
I also have a pair disk brakes/spndles from a 1977 LTD II The rotors are good, bearings are good, just need calipers, pads, and lines. I will throw in the spindle and brake setup with the car.
Price Lowered to $5400 as it sits, $5100 without the carb This is picked up in Denver CO. i have not titled it in my name but i have the signed clear colorado title.
Pictures are fairly crappy camera phone variety. I can get better ones after the holidays if interested.

Okay, 5 grand drives it away. 4800 without the carb. this car is solid rust free, patch panel free, bondo free... the fastback body in this conidtion alone is worth it.
