Awesome deal on an 6-71 BDS blower setup for a 429-460 Ford engine.

This is a blower I am selling that I installed on a customers car, and he changed his mind.

Oh, baby. That's motor porn at it's finest. Yep, the buy-it-now price is a very good deal. I have to go splash cold water on my face now...

Oh forgot to mention the $3000 from BDS is JUST the blower, no intake, carbs, anything... lol. Man that thing looks good... will that clear a normal distributor? That intake is TALL.

Hmm, 2 4's on top of a blower pokin' through the teardrop scoop.... Never clear the radiator, though....

That is one reason Ford's have a bit more of an issue with Blowers than GM engines.

Ford V8 engines (except the "Y"-block and Flat head) have front Mount distributors, so you either have to modify the distributor (off-set or right angle drive) or build the manifold tall enough to mount the blower high enough to clear the stock ditributor height/location. Impressive, but as the original owner may have found out...a bit obstruction to your vision or distracting on the street.

I posted this on the 385 site and someone pointed out that the roters look shot when you look in the pic that looks down there.

I can assure you that the rotors are perfect, its just lighting and an optical illusion. I would not list anything that was not in good shape.

Those rotors look to be in good condition. The rotors on something like that are pretty close together, and as he points out, it was driven a little, so some wear is applicable.
