Drag Racing

I just attended frank hawley's drag racing school for the adventure II class. I drove a 700 hp dragster at half throttle. I got 5 runs (3 1/8 and 2 1/4). Went a best of 11.3 at 118mph, my first time drag racing. It was awsome. I recomend it to all.

Be glad you went to Frank Hawleys school and not Roy Hills. The guy I used to crew for went to Roy's and said he was a real jerk. On Horsepower TV, one segment showed them taking a Nova to Roy's school, and he was a jerk on the show too.

Here's the website addy:

http://www.frankhawley.com/

The Adventure II program costs $398. In contrast, the Buck Baker (NASCAR) Driving School costs $450 for a half day session at Darlington or Bristol Motor Speedways.

Jan..guess which I'd pick?

The staff was really nice and helpfull, unless you broke one of their major rules, but that is the way it has to be so people dont get hurt. would do it again in a second!

Calling Roy Hill a jerk is a compliment... he's a lot worse than that...

They must have a mechanical means of keeping the car down to half throttle....

I know FOR SURE that rules or no rules, if I had my foot on the pedal inside a 700HP dragster on a race track with fire suit on, helmet on and buckled in....

THERE IS NO FORCE ON EARTH SO GREAT THAT IT COULD KEEP MY FOOT FROM MASHING DOWN AS FAAAAR AS IT COULD GO...... WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO !!!

I would love to do what you go to do!

Does that mean I have Dragster Envy?

I don't understand people like Roy Hill that are in the business of people. You pay good money to attend his school and you have to put up with an idiot like that.
