\'65 ford one ton pick up

I was offered a '65 ford one ton truck today for $500. Its complete and reasonably solid for a Maine vehicle. It has a 352 ci, 4-speed trans, and a 10' flat bed with removable racks. The truck runs and drives but needs brake work. The bottom of the doors and cab corners have some minor rot but its nothing for me to fab up new corners and weld em in. I am mostly interested in the truck because it would make an awesome tow/haul truck and I could have it finished in a couple of months with fresh paint. I could drive my altered up on the flat bed to haul it to the track and It could easily pull a 18' car trailor. I like the look of those old fords and to see one in such good shape as well as a reasonable price I think I might buy it. What do you guys think??

6.29 @ 112 MPH 1.48 60'. Home-fabbed twin turbo 302 at 3242 lbs. Fastest ugly Mustang on FM!
