180 Degree Headers:

I bought these at a yard sale for $25.00, they are NOS 351 C 4V 180 degree headers. 180 degree headers have # 2 and # 3 pipe connecting to the driver side collector, and #6 and #7 connecting to the passenger side collector. They have a sound all their own, but the only problem is they have to be used on a vehicle that has some serious firewall mods:

Re: 180 Degree Headers:

Yes they do indeed sound different, we ran them on a Dirt Late model everyone asked us what engine we ran because they never heard one sound like that before

We ran them 2 on our late model on dirt to. Those where made mostly for racing on a track and race frame. Not for street.

Never even seen such a thing. I lived a sheltered life I guess. And 25 buck! Now that sounds like a deal to me even if I am clueless!

Wow, those look like they could fit in the NC moonshining museum if there is such a thing.

Re: 180 Degree Headers:

Yes they sound different. There's a Vega on YouTube that has a set on it. Gives you an idea what they sound like on a V8. I kind of wanted to build one for my Mustang, just to be different.
