they took away his plates though...did you read the further links? Crazy California only issues 500 'special construction' registrations per year for the whole state Jan 1st of each year, all gone within hours...guess better get camping gear if you intend to build a KitCar huh...scares me that the whole country seems to be following calis thinking on all things automotive...

500 for a whole year? In Cali alone that won't even scratch the surface of the number of rigs needing them!
