my take on corp. owners , they can't change it to much. their buying in/it -- reason it works how it is ... other forum that was sold , very little change . got ad's but who pays attention to them

I am with you. I am leaving this forum to show my disgust of corporate take over.
I leave with a heavy heart as there is so much good information and great members on here. Thanks to all that have helped me in the past. Your support will not be forgotten.

Im sorry to hear you wish to leave simply due to an ownership change. The term cutting off you nose to spite your face comes to mind. However, its your choice and you have every might to make it.

Thank you to most of you that choose to stick around and give it a go. You will see that we are mainly here as a technical resource and want to make sure that everyone here will be able to visit the site when ever they want. We provide pretty much 24 hour support (everyone sleeps now and then) and the techies have some of the best monitoring software to ensure even the slightest issues with the server are found quickly.

Ahh.... makes sense now guess I have been gone a while. For those that don't know Chilly sold 460ford to auto forums and well there was a falling out to say and a mass exodus to 429-460. I still visit both and the ads don't bother me, but I do find it funny there are dodge ram ads here.

There have always been ads on this site. If anything we removed a few of the placements you had ads in originally. You will occasionally see ads for other trucks and it will offend some of you but this is how forum ads can work. If other manufacturers are spending more on internet ads they will have a farther reach.

460Ford still exists and still has a long list of happy members and users on the site. We are not here to change or destroy what was built we are here to grow it. I am also curious about the folks who are complaining about forum owners if they have ever tried to run a forum or built one up? This is not easy and the amount of personal time it will take up is what makes most people want to sell rather then fold a community completely.

No, membership fees will support the content side of FordMuscle (non-forums content). With autoforums.com now operating the forums, FordMuscle LLC will have more time to focus on and develop the content side.
