63 rear

thinking of putting a sway bar on rear of 63 galaxie but heard that would bend rear housing?

A sway bar bending a Ford 9 inch housing? I doubt that.

Not possible. Where do people come up with this? Not the OP but the person that told him. The OP was smart enough to ask ! The 3" diameter steel tube is FAR stronger than the sway bar.

Granted a galaxie is quite a bit heavier but I put a rear sway bar on my car and it made it really unpredictible.

Yes I agree it can really mess up the handling of a car when it doesn't need one or when the front bar is the wrong size too.
