Re: 64 falcon B/FX clone

B/FX is/was a factory experimental racecar with a small block whereas the A/FX was a big block racecar

Re: 64 falcon B/FX clone

Cool, its lookin great. Do you have any good info / reads on the A/FX or B/FX im not familiar with that model and can't find much on the net about it.

I've been interested in building a era correct Falcon race clone (in the market for a '64 for some time), but i wanted to go with a Euro-GT style car...Much like this Ford Falcon Sprint Racing for sale at carclassic.com

Re: 64 falcon B/FX clone

Just some advice; using no flash makes for great picture quality, but you have to have enough light so the shutter speed isnt to slow, which causes blurring UNLESS you use a tripod so the camera is perfectly still. Cool car.

Re: 64 falcon B/FX clone

Hi
As far as a good read on A/FX stories there was info on the net about the Wildchild from London Ont. I believe the web site was motorheadextrodinaire or something like that. Last time I searched I could not find much. I lost a bunch of my favorites when my computer died. As far as the camera goes some of the pictures were scaned from pictures and my old camera was crap. I have a new camera that is great. When I update my progress the pictures will be much better. Thanks for the coments

Re: 64 falcon B/FX clone

Hi. They are Scarebird brackets. I bought them off ebay, seem to be good quality and come with a bunch of info for the parts you will need to make them work.

Re: 64 falcon B/FX clone

No it's a work in progress. I had hoped to have it on the road this summer but I found it was becoming more of a job than a hobby. I took the summer off and will be getting back at it soon. I had to build a new garage so that took all my time as well as all my money. Give me some details about your build.

Re: 64 falcon B/FX clone

Love the car, the 64 Falcon is what I originally planned on getting before the Galaxie. It's gonna be interesting one to follow for sure.
