Finally
Here it is. Check it out. Just have to detail the trunk and mount the bumpers and a polish then she comes home.

Re: Finally
Question though, Have you thought about painting the engine compartment the same color?? I always thought that looks sweet. Maybe smooth out a few dents, dings, unused holes. Soo coool.
Haha, just thought that if you ran E85 or alcohol you'd have a reeeeaaally green car!
JK, seriously that looks good.

I did think about painting the engine bay green, but the old school in me says black. The hood is satin black anyways, so I think it will sorta match.
As for the color, it is Mopar Sassy Grass Green, Ive been a fan of this color since the 70's when it came out on the hemi Cudas. Not a big Ply/Dodge fan though. I had a 440 Caharger when I was young, and the things interior rattled apart. Fit and finish was crap.
Thanks for the kind word on the bird.
Matt

Re: Finally
Braver man than I. There is no way I'd ever paint a car anywhere other than a paint booth. The chance of dust, bugs, or anything else screwing up all your work is not worth the cost of the bay rental. I hope the gamble paid off for you.

Re: Finally
It is GREEN no mistaking that.
I like it though. With a satin blak hood it is/will be a Fine ride.
Very nice

I had the same thought at first, but I've seen some of the cars that came out of this shop. Show winners. Plus base clear is forgiving in that the car is blocked before clearing it, and then polished after. Surprisingly, it turned out with very few minor imperfections. This car is being built to drive, so I didnt want a 10,000.00 paint job anyways. Im happy, and thats all that counts.

Tell me about it! I wanted to make sure this is a one of a kind Falcon. I was thinking black or Wimbleton white at first, but went with my gut. I think when its all said and done and reassembled it will be fine. Thanks.
