Take your drums in to a automotive shop that has machine shop services. They can press out the old studs and install the new drums. If you want to do it yourself, you can beat the studs out with a hammer, and replace the studs with new ones. Don't worry about swaging the new studs. The wheel will secure the drum to the hub once the lugnuts are tightened down, just as they are on the rear axle.
I'm John, and I'm working on restoring my 1967 Galaxie 500. My front brake drums need to be replaced, but I'm not sure how to get the hub out of them. I read through the thread on here and I suspect the studs were swaged over the original drum but I can't tell from inspecting it. How would you recommend I remove the hub from the drum? Cut the swaged area and press out?
