Naw, after a quick search on the internet I found that the light green foam offers more than ample protection in this situation. Its the pink foam that guys should be scared of.
I saw it on the internet so it has to be true.

Looks like he's welding an exhaust pipe on the truck maybe? This stuff makes me cringe. If I did something like that I would be smushed with the kind of luck I have. I use 2 floor jacks, 2 or 4 jack stands and then stack tires under my car if I'm working under it.
