I have the Original charge harness, nothing mysterious there I used a 63 Falcon gen diagram for that. But the 64.5 horse has the dash signal wire coming out of the headlight harness... There are 3 total wires there.
Light blue Bullet female connector with with yellow stripe maybe 12 gauge
Black wire with Yellow stripe maybe 10 gauge (forked prong connector)
White wire with purple stripe (forked prong connector)
They most obviously go directly to the firewall and to the dash from there.
THESE are the 3 wires but those dorkwads took the pics in BLACK & WHITE!
No diagram I ever found has these colors, nor details why there is a pair of wires that go to a place that not one diagram in the world shows having 2 wires going to it...

I'm referring to the '64 Falcon service manual which states the same as the '64.5 Mustang. The blue-yellow stripe has to go to it's female which looks to go to horn relay. or at least in that harness. I went out and checked my relay and it has that wire and bullet connector.
The black-yellow stripe shows to be yellow-black goes to bottom terminal. The third wire I have is orange( must be your white) goes to top terminal along with black-yellow that feeds from lower harness.
There are five wires that rise from the lower harness, yellow-black goes to bottom terminal, white go middle, black-yellow to upper, black-red to opposite side single terminal and that blue-yellow from horn relay.
. That's the best I can decipher from the photo.
