The motor/trans/wiring is from a 1991 TBird. 105k miles. I have the motor stripped to long block , bottom end looks good, heads are dirty though.
I have some q's for people who have done some mild upgrades to they're 5.0's and looking for input.
1.Intake- can I replace the upper/lower/tb with the Explorer up.low.tb? wiring match up? (tbird has the intake with elbow like 93/94 must gt)
2.Cam- I was thinking of swapping the tbird spec cam with a Ford E303, best cam for $$$? dont need a race cam
3.Heads- I know of local (stock) 89 gt heads, would these be better to refresh than t-birds? same? I also know of freshened heads w.202/160 valves priced pretty well
4.MAF- any need to go larger than the oem sized tbird maf?
