mustang rear ratio's
Can anyone tell me what the usual ratio for a 5 speed 5.0 musatang in 86-90 would be? I' thinking 3.55 0r 3.73. Any help would be good. thanks

IIRC, 3.08s were optional... 2.75's were std...

Yeah, depending on engine, auto or manual, and option group - 2.73 in most. GTs optioned 3.27 and 3.55 IIRC, and Turbo SVOs 3.73 - by memory.

Best first mod for any fox body mustang is new gears in my opinion - if its a manual put in 3:73 if auto try the 4:11
