I just found a real nice 98 gt for sale

I was out yeastier day looking for a car to get me around for awhile. It has a 4.6 5 speed. Can any buddy till me what kind MPG these get city & highway ? thanks Richard

Not sure how the NPI engines did, but back when my 03 was stock, I was getting ~20 in suburbia and ~27 highway.

If you go to FuelEconomy.gov, it will list the factory rating and actual averages by owners. Your car and an '88 Civic are compared below. I used the Civic HF, as all the hype these days about 38 or 40 mpg, and you could get over 50 actual highway way back then in a decent little car. My son's '90 Civic (RIP) only got 43 highway, but that's with a turbo and well over 400 hp of good tune when you mashed the pedal...
