I have the motor from a 1986 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe that I am putting in my 1986 Mustang GT. I need an engine wiring harness for the motor and am having trouble finding one, but I found one from a 1984 Mustang SVO. Will it or any of the SVO harnesses work? what about the 83-88 cougar XR7 wiring harness? Does anyone have a harness they can make me a good deal on? I know tbird TC wiring harnesses were all the same .

Also the motor I have is an 86 and I have an 87 computer. I was planning on putting in larger injectors than even the 87 had, but will this work with the 86 having a smaller turbo?

Your going to run into problems runing bigger than stock injectors on a stock ECU. You will need to have it re-tuned. The 85-88 t-birds turbo coupes all use the same injectors. I think they are 35lb. Also the 85-86 manual t-birds have the "biggest" turbo a T-3 .63 AR. the 87-88 use a smaller IHI turbo. They make more power because of the intercooler and better ECU.
