I am doing a foxbody mustang project.i bought a 5.0Ho out of a 93 thunderbird sc.I can tell the intake and water pump are different.Is that the only differance?Are the heads and cam the same as the mustang 5.0s? I plan on using a GT40 intake with a 75 mm throtle body and under drive pullies from the old motor(blown when i bought car).with the better intake will it produce the same power as the mustang 5.0s

Rodd,
All T Bird SCs came with a supercharged 6 cyl. If your engine is a 5.0 HO, its not from a T Bird.

It may not have been a sc but it was definitely a t bird.91_93 did have 5.0 ho in them.intakes were smaller due to space under hood but my question is other than that is motor the same?

Yes and no...

Different oil pan, headers, and front dress, water pump, timing cover, heater tubes, sensors, different cam than the eariler 5.0 HOs
same lower intake manifold different upper,,

Will the different cam be a noticeable difference from the stang im used to?im changing the intake and exhaust.should i change cams also? Its going to be a daily driver,

Doubt the cam would be noticable, if you are using the Bird ECU. I'd just run it if its gong to be a D/D...
