1970 Torino GT Convertible

I have a 1970 torino convertible w/ 351 cleavland. The engine is being rebuilt and I just had a 4v put in. New paint is my next step and I'm thinking of painting it orange, but I was hoping for some feedback. Anyone out there ever seen a orange torino convertible? Maybe black stripe?

here is an example of an orange 70 I saw. I think I like it

I've got an original Orange 1970 Convertible with a laser stripe, and its a factory 429 car. Not near as nice as yours is, but will be someday. One of these days I may even take pics of it.

Ok ok, I'll see what I can do. Might have some old snapshots from back in her glory days It just looks so horrible right now. Hell it'd take me the better part of 2 days to get it out of the garage at this point.

hehe, just went through the album, all the shots are from the middle of the door down (takin pictures of the bunnies we used to have in the back yard). I'll keep diggin though. I seem to recall a good picture of the car sitting in the driveway with about 6 inches of snow around it, Freak snowstorm here in vegas in the late 70s.

the work bench sounds like my 70 Cougar. I use it as a tool cart, sanding bench, etc. Man I wish it was done.
When you find some, email me a few for my site too.

Hey - that's my orange Torino!! Got other pics if you want to see them. FYI - the color is Hugger Orange (yeah, I know that's a chevy color) and the stripe is from a Cyclone GT. IMHO it looks better than the big fat Torino laser stripe. car's for sale now at $10K if anyone's interested.

Brett,
This is the first time I have found or attempted to use this site so I don't have any idea if you will receive this message. If you still have the weatherstrip you mentioned I might be interested.
