Where To Get \'73 Torino Sport Lower Quarter Patch Panels:
After doing bodywork for a living for 6-7 years, I feel for the money, it's a good panel from them. The stamping are pretty good, considering they are not full panels.
With that said, I will take the US, OHIO stamped 3/4 quarter over one of those tiawan stamped full panels the gm boys have the luxury of buying.
The panel I bought was dicounted, because it was slightly dented up some on the upper body line, I gave $110 for it, new.
I have used Tabco products before, mainly truck fenders, etc, and have been happy with them. Miles better than alot of the Tiawan knockoffs.
As far as fitment on a sport, it's pretty much how you see it in the picture...I had to do some trimming around the tail light, and I still need to open up the 1/4 panel side light.
On the lip of the wheel well, they left a HUGE amount of material, I guess incase you would have a guy maybe just slip the panel over the old quarter and weld it on.
I need to get on the ball and weld that thing on, but I have been working on the 13" rotor conversion, and the brake system.
IF you want more pictures, let me know.
I have some on the MSN torino site, but a majority of them, I don't.
I am hoping I can save my Driver's side, and not have to replace it aswell.
