I'm just going to cheat and hotlink pics from my CarDomain page...





This car gets 14 miles to a gallon of gas and 50 miles to a quart of oil. I have a thousand ideas in my head of what to do about it, but having no cash means I keep buying $2-$3 quarts of oil and the $150 re-ring kits, $350 rebuild kits, $500 used engines, $1200 reman 351M long blocks, and the $3000 built engines will forever be out of reach. But I'm trying...

hey brawley, nice torino. did you just pick that up or are you the guy who bought it from the original owner? i went and looked at it when the original owner had it for sale.

I bought it last year from a younger kid who claimed to buy it from the original owner.

cool. did you have the lower 1/4's and such fixed up yet? it looks good in the pics.

I have not done anything with the exterior yet. I just put in a new clutch kit, had the linkages rebuilt(solved some problem where the brake lights would turn on when shifting between gears), and installed a pcv valve(for some reason it was just taped off).

It looks like someone did some work on the 1/4's but did a poor job, so I will address those later. I'm going to put in disc brakes all around and replace the wheels next.
