Considering buying a 1972 Gran Torino Sport

Hi everyone, I'm considering buying a 1972 Gran Torino Sport Fastback with the 351 cobra jet "q code". Factory AC and has C-6 auto transmission. Additionally, the hood scoop is functional. It has been sitting for around 15 years. There is considerable rust on hood as well as a few rust holes on the side panels and hood however the frame is solid. Car has 72,000 miles on it. Interior is im good shape. I have got the gentleman selling it to $575 for it. Is this a good price knowing the amount of work it will take? Additionally, could I part it out to make my money back at this price?

Hopefully you bought it. It's a steal at that price........Don't part it out, unless it's really trashed.
If you just want to make some extra cash by buying it then selling it, buy it then got to GranTorinoSport.org on their main forum, and /or Facebook pages, you caan easily make some good money just flipping it
