Writing a magazine article about Chevy people trying to irritate Ford people

Okay, I'm not writing anything but a post on a forum. But I thought some comic relief is in order. I would post this in the Garage, but then it would lose context with Dennis's post.

Let's all take a deep breath, smile, and get back to the important work. Let's help those with Ford related issues and problems out there. Any sincere individual wanting help will always get my sincere input.

Well my thing on this is real simple. Most any ford guy I know, that actually knows his stuff (yes there are idiot ford owners just like there are idiot bowtie owners) will see the benfits of building any engine. I myself also dabble with small block mopars in my buddies Cuda. They are great engines, just like the small blocks from our fords and the small blocks in the chevy crowd. Chrysler owners are the same way, they seem to be able to appreciate the fact that The big three have all made great engines, that make good power. But then we get to Chevy owners. A large portion ( I will not say all, because I've met chevy builders with lots of respect for other engines, especially the 351c) of chevy owners are hell bent on just proving how much better the 350 is than anything ever made. when you try and do a pro and con session, they procede to say that the bad points of a chevy are not that important, but say, one less bolt per cyl in the head means that fords are complete crap. This is the ignorant attitude I've come to expect from Chevy owners.

A good example is one guy I met out in the desert. He had a 72 Chevy halfton that was set up for pre-running similar to what I do in my f-350. It had a nice stance and a well built cage, so I commented on the fact that he had a nice truck. His responce was "better than that old Ford ya have there," Well lemme tell ya somethin. this chevy just so happened to have a Ford 9'' axle and even the Twin I-Beams from a ford grafted underneath!!! So I asked him If fords were so bad, how come hes relying on Ford suspension for his truck? His reply was "Its just a suspension Im using, no particular reason" I left after that, this guy was so full of himself it wasnt even funny.

So anytime A bowtie guy says fords are poorly made pieces of crap, Just ask him how many Mustangs he's seen with 10 bolt chevy rear ends underneath. If he catches the sarcasm, listen for an odd responce, but chances are it'll go right over his head.

Those that say it cant be done should say so quietly, so as not to disturb those who are doing it.

All I needed to know about that Dennis jackrod was in his post reply to 460 Tom. He didn't answer the questions and sounded like a prick. 'Nuff said.
I personally don't want a Chevy brown noser writing an article on putting a Ford in anything. What is in it for me? An even harder time finding a 351W block? No thanks dumb ass.
I couldn't care any less about what that Chevy apologist thinks, writes or says.
Don't argue with an idiot, folks may not know the difference. BTW, favorite moment, blowing away a '65 Chevy pickup in my brother's '65 Ford PU. The Chevy had "Badass Bowtie" on the back window. Huh. Not badass enough.

Motorhead, We are ripping on our friend Dennis who posted he writes for a boating mag and ponders why the Ford 351w would be any better than the gen x 350. He of course is just trying to start a pissing match. Don't reply to him it will only encourage him! However these post that Mock him are FUNNY!
