If not GER. what would you recomend?

Since most seem to feel GER Torque Convertors are junk, who would you recomend for a 4500 stall?

I installed a TCS converter this year. Only have about 10 passes on it, but I am overwhelmingly happy. 4500 stall S4. They are built to your specs in Arizona. Give them a call. Have all your car's information handy.

I would recommend JPT in Michigan. They build them to your exact specs. Give them a call and they will send you sheet for all your info. A friend of mine runs one and he loves it. I've never heard anything bad about them. I'll be purchasing a 3000 stall from them over the winter months. I highly believe you get what you pay for when it comes to torque convertors!

I've had two TCI's in the car and both worked very well. I would not claim that their off-the-shelf models are going to work as well as a custom, but the converters work as advertised. My 10" was "only" $400 and it's stalling just about where they thought it should with my setup. I did have a problem with the first 10" I got from Summit - the splines in the converter were buggered up. That may have been a TCI thing or an abused part that got returned to Summit. They repalced it no questions.

I bought a 2800 nonlock for my AOD. Very happy with it. Good price and good service.
