I have a 428 non cj engine and have been gathering parts to put a toploader behind it I have most of the stuff but a question has come up, I have a truck bellhouse and was told it would not work with a car tranny, that the truck bell is deeper than a car bellhouse. can anyone verify this for me

Most of the truck bells also have the "bulge" in them like the CJ bells had for a larger clutch.
